The National Conference on Applications of Business Analytics organized by Praxis Business School

The National Conference on Applications of Business Analytics organized by Praxis Business School was held online on 16 Sept.’22.

Professors, Research Scholars and Students across India presented their research papers at the conference.

Prof. (Dr) Prithwis Mukerjee, Director, Praxis Business School delivered the Keynote Speech, and Prof. Charanpreet Singh, Co-Founder and Director, Praxis Business School Foundation gave the inaugural address. Dr. Sayantan Kundu, Associate Professor, Praxis Business School was the moderator of the conference.

The speakers were:
Dr Mrinmoy Roy, Assistant Professor, Institute of Health Management Research, Bangalore, Bangalore, Bangalore and Dr Kritika Sarkar, PGDM 2020-22 Health & Hospital Management, Institute of Health Management Research, Bangalore, presented their paper ‘Healthcare predictive analytics Assessing confusion matrix and probability mapping for models developed for Health Insurance for predicting NCDs’.

Dr Aditya Banerjee, Assistant Professor, FORE School of Management, New Delhi and Dr Sayantan Kundu, Associate Professor, #praxisbusinessschool Kolkata presented their paper ‘Diplomatic Associations and Forex Rates: A study on Russia Ukraine war’.
Dr Madhurima Ganguly, Associate Professor, Heritage Business School, Kolkata and Mithila Roy Bardhan, Research Scholar, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University Of Technology & Centre Head, #INIFD Kolkata presented their paper ‘HR Analytics – A Conceptual Exploration’.

Agniva Roy and Preetam Saha, students of Praxis Business School PGP in Data Science (Jan ’22) presented the paper ‘Are Bitcoin returns correlated with other asset returns: A time series analysis’.

Shaizy Khan, Research Scholar, Amity College of Commerce and Finance, Amity University, Noida presented the paper ‘Exploring the landscape of green accounting and sustainable development: A social network analysis’.

Aniruddha Mandal, B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science), The Neotia University, presented the paper ‘Stock Price Prediction using Machine Learning’.

The conference ended with the Vote of Thanks and Valediction by Prof. (Dr) Sourav Saha, Dean Academics, Praxis Business School.
