Admissions Policy
Praxis Business School evaluates applicants across multiple dimensions to identify candidates who show the potential to succeed in the programme and build strong careers after graduation.
Academic Eligibility
In line with AICTE norms, graduates and final-year students from AIU/UGC/AICTE-recognised universities may apply. General-category applicants require at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent, while SC, ST and OBC applicants require at least 45%.
Entrance Examination
Praxis accepts valid scores from recognised management entrance examinations including CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, GMAT and GRE.
Work Experience
Relevant professional experience receives weightage because experienced candidates can contribute practical perspectives to classroom learning and peer discussions.

Performance in the Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates complete an essay-writing exercise and a personal interview with a panel that may include faculty and industry members. The process evaluates structured thinking, communication, subject knowledge, analytical ability, attitude, leadership potential, entrepreneurial orientation and learning ability.
The Admission Process at Praxis Business School
- Candidates register online in accordance with the admission schedule and applicable AICTE guidelines.
- After receipt of a completed application, the admissions office shares the relevant programme information with the applicant.
- Shortlisting considers academic performance, professional qualifications, entrance-test performance, sports and extracurricular achievements, and work experience.
- Shortlisted applicants are informed by email and invited to the essay-writing and personal-interview stages.
- Selected candidates receive an offer letter. Applicants who are not selected are informed separately.
