Alumni Connect – City Meets

Reconnect, reminisce, and re-engage with fellow Praxians through our regional alumni meets — designed to foster professional connections and community sirit beyond campus. These City Meets offer a platform to exchange ideas, explore collaborations, and strengthen the Praxis network across geographies. So far, we’ve hosted vibrant meets in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai, with more cities to come as our alumni footprint expands across India and beyond.

Annual Campus Meet – Homecoming to Praxis

The Annual Alumni Meet is a much-awaited homecoming at the Praxis Kolkata campus — a celebration of shared journeys, success stories, and lifelong bonds. The event brings together alumni from different batches to engage with faculty, current students, and industry guests through interactive sessions, networking mixers, and campus tours. It’s an opportunity to relive memories, build new connections, and contribute to the ever-growing Praxis legacy.

At Praxis, learning extends beyond the classroom — enriched by the experiences, insights, and mentorship of our accomplished alumni. Through a series of structured initiatives, alumni play a vital role in preparing students for professional success, bridging the gap between campus and corporate life.

Knowledge Sharing Sessions

Campus to Corporate

Transitioning from campus to corporate life can be both exciting and challenging. In this insightful session, Nikita Israni (Batch of 2022–24), Senior Product Consultant – Customer Success at Meritto, shared practical guidance on workplace etiquette, communication, and adapting to corporate culture. Her experiences and advice equipped students with the confidence, mindset, and skills needed to begin their professional journeys successfully.

Praxis Talk Series

In this engaging alumni series, Kabita Singh (TCS), Ahan Barbora (Nihilent Ltd.), and Anwesha Banerjee (ICICI Prudential Asset Management) returned to campus to share industry experiences and leadership insights. Covering analytics, consulting, and business management, the sessions gave students valuable real-world perspectives, encouraging them to think beyond academics, embrace practical learning, and prepare confidently for evolving professional challenges ahead.

PPO Talks

Designed to help students excel during internships, the PPO Talks feature alumni who converted internships into full-time opportunities. Gaurav Talwar (Batch of 2011–13), Business Head at Swiggy, shared valuable insights on corporate expectations, workplace performance, and professional growth. His experiences guided students on maximizing internship opportunities, building strong impressions, and turning short-term assignments into successful long-term careers.

Mentorship Initiatives

Alumni Mentorship Program

Through personalized guidance and one-on-one interactions, Praxis alumni mentors support students in navigating academics, career decisions, and skill development. Alumni like Uma Balakrishnan have played a key role in helping students identify their strengths, understand evolving industry expectations, and build confident, future-ready career paths through continuous mentorship, encouragement, and practical insights.

Alumni Academic Sessions

Debarnik Biswas, PGPBM Class of 2015, conducted an insightful session on Advanced Marketing Research and Analytics at Praxis Business School, Bakrahat Campus, in collaboration with Prof. Prasenjit Sen. Through case discussions and real-world examples, he helped students connect marketing analytics theory with practical industry applications, strengthening data-driven decision-making skills and industry readiness.
