Praxis Business School extends support to the people of the Sunderbans
Praxis Business School – The Praxis family made a small attempt to support the people of the Sunderbans, reeling under the double impact of the COVID lockdown and the super cyclone Yash.
On the basis of the feedback received from the local bodies, our team visited the Gosaba block on July 4 to extend our support to the community efforts in Waste Management, an area critical to the health and sustenance of the ecosystem that provides the locals their livelihood.We met and lent our support to 120 super women from the area who are leading this initiative, and another about 400 villagers of Sonagaon who are working hard to keep the environment around them clean.
We were guided and helped in this initiative by the Gosaba BDO, Ms Kakali Ghosh (OC Baruipur) and Ms Jhumpa Ghosh of Change Initiatives
