Candidates may apply to any one or both the programs offered by Praxis Business School through a common application form.

Obtaining the prospectus and application form

Prospectus for the Post Graduate Programs offered at Praxis Business School can be obtained for a non-refundable amount of Rs.1200/- (rupees one thousand two hundred only) in the following 5 ways:

  • Any of the IMS centers

Payment through Cash/DD*/Pay Order*/Credit Card

  • Fill up and submit the form online

Payment through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ Mobile Banking

 

  • Download PDF version of the form and pay online by credit card

All requests for obtaining the prospectus by mail must be sent only by Registered Mail with AD/Speed Post/Courier

Post Graduate Program in Business Management

Eligibility

Both Indian and International candidates* require a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3-year duration or equivalent grade in any discipline recognized by the local educational authorities.

* Indian residents outside India, and foreign nationals, are eligible to apply as “International Candidates”. To qualify as an Indian resident outside India, a candidate should be an Indian who has lived, worked or studied outside India for at least 12 months continuously as of March 31st 2012.

Tests accepted

  • Scores in CAT 09/10/11 and/or XAT 10/11/12 or CMAT 2012 would be considered valid for admission
  • Scores in GMAT/GRE taken on or after November 1st, 2009 would be considered valid for admission
  • Praxis also conducts its own exam – Praxis Admission Test (PAT). Candidates with good profiles may be allowed to write PAT, if they do not have a valid score in the above exams.

In case a candidate applies on the basis of two or more tests, the best performance would be considered.

Selection criteria

  • Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of their scores in the tests mentioned above
  • The selection will also be based on the candidate’s profile that comprises

– Academic performance

– Professional qualifications

– Extra curricular activities

– Work experience

  • Short-listed candidates will be required to to write an essay and appear for Personal Interviews
  • The final admission would be awarded on the basis of the candidate’s test scores, profile and performance in essay and Personal Interviews

Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics

Eligibility

Both Indian and International candidates* require a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3-year duration or equivalent grade in any discipline recognized by the local educational authorities.

The candidates must have Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects during Graduation.

* Indian residents outside India, and foreign nationals, are eligible to apply as “International Candidates”. To qualify as an Indian resident outside India, a candidate should be an Indian who has lived, worked or studied outside India for at least 12 months continuously as of March 31st 2012.

Test accepted

Praxis will conduct an Analytical Assessment Test. This test is a 2 hour aptitude test. It would be a paper based test which would test a candidate on his proficiency in Problem Solving, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Verbal Reasoning and Reading Comprehension. Analytical Assessment Test is administered on the same day and the same venue as the interviews.

Candidates with more than 85 percentile in Quantitative and Analytical sections of CAT or XAT are exempt of the Analytical Assessment Test.

  • The selection will also be based on the candidate’s profile that comprises

  • Short-listed candidates will be required to appear for Personal Interview
  • The final admission would be awarded on the basis of the candidate’s test scores, profile and performance in the Personal Interview

  • Sale of forms begins online on October 10, 2011
  • Sale of forms at all IMS centres begins on October 20, 2011
  • Interview process is held during March – April 2012
  • Courses commence by July 2012
