Praxis Admission Test

PAT or Praxis Admission Test is a national level entrance examination conducted by Praxis Business School for admission in to the Post Graduate Program in Data Science offered at Praxis Business School.

Students with valid scores in other qualifying exams ( CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE) are also encouraged to appear for Praxis Admission Test. The best of the scores would be considered for selection.

Application Process

  • To be eligible for the test, students need to apply online for the PGPDS through Praxis website
  • The cost of application for PGPDS is Rs. 1,500. There is no separate application or cost attached to PAT

Pattern of the Praxis Admission Test

  • PAT is an online AI Proctored Aptitude Test offered through our testing partners – Mettl
  • PAT consists of 100 questions for 300 marks
  • The duration of the examination is two hours
  • Each correct answer carries +3 marks and incorrect answer carries a negative mark of -1

Areas tested in Praxis Admission Test

  • Data Analysis – 25 questions to be solved in 30 mins
  • Numerical Ability – 20 questions to be solved in 25 mins
  • Critical Thinking – 20 questions to be solved in 25 mins
  • Verbal Ability – 15 questions to be solved in 20 mins
  • Reasoning Ability – 20 questions to be solved in 20 mins

THINGS TO REMEMBER ABOUT THE TEST

  1. For the whole duration of the test you are under video surveillance and the feed from your web camera is being recorded for invigilation purpose
  2. The test would be considered null void if the person is found to be involved in any kind of malpractice (presence of another person in the room, candidate not visible in the camera, other applications or internet browser being accessed during the test)
