SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 2009
 

                

                  The selections for the Summer Internship Program of Praxis Business School for its Second Batch are in progress. The batch strength is 41, of which 40 students are going through the Summer Internship process.

The status as on May 18 is as follows:

A total of 15 companies are expected to participate in this year’s summer placements.

  • 12 companies have completed their process and made 33 offers.

  • 3 companies are expected to confirm their offers within this week.

The details of the 12 companies which have completed their processes and made offers are:

1. Hewlett Packard India selected 2 students for Marketing Summer Internships based out of Kolkata.

2. Pilkington Glass India selected 1 student for a Marketing Summer Internship based out of Mumbai.

3. WeP India (formerly Wipro e-Peripherals) selected 1 student for an HR Summer Internship, 2 students for a Sales Summer Internship, 2 students for a Marketing Summer Internship, 1 student for a Finance Summer Internship, 1 student for a Quality Control Summer Internship and 1 student for a Summer Internship in the MD’s office. All these internships are based out of Bengaluru.

4. Grant Thornton selected 1 student for a Finance Summer Internship based out of Mumbai.

5. Godrej Sara Lee selected 1 student for a Marketing Summer Internship based out of Kolkata.

6. Persistent Systems Ltd. has selected 1 student for a Finance Summer Internship, 1 student for a Marketing Summer Internship and 1 student for a Summer Internship in Corporate Planning. All these internships are based out of Pune.

7. Kotak Life Insurance has selected 5 students for Finance Summer Internships based in Kolkata

8. Philips India has selected 1 student for a Marketing Summer Internship based out of Kolkata

9. Kredent Capital has selected 3 students for Finance Summer Internships based out of Kolkata  

10. ITC Limited, ITD (FMCG Division) has selected 1 student for a Marketing Summer Internship based out of Kolkata

11. Titan  Industries have selected 2 students for internships in the Supply Chain area based out of Kolkata and 3 students for internships in Marketing area based out of Kolkata and Raipur.

12. Bertling Logistics have selected 2 students for Finance Summer Internships based out of Mumbai

The average stipend offered so far is Rs. 7,300/= per month ranging from Rs. 20,000/= per month to Rs. 2,500/= per month.
