The Final Placements of the First Batch of Praxis kicked off in February 2009. The First Batch of Praxis has 47 students graduating, of which 45 have opted to go through the Placement process.

The position of final placements as on 25^th of May is given below.

1)   Average Salary offered so far is Rs. 4.52 lakhs.

d.   Axis Bank – 1 offer, Capital Markets Division, Corporate Banking Group – Placement in Mumbai

e.   Price Waterhouse Coopers – 1 offer, Consulting in Process Improvement SBU - Placement in Kolkata.

f.   ICICI Bank – 1 offer, Risk Division – Placement in Mumbai

g.    IMS – 1 offer, Product Management – Placement in Mumbai

h.   IMS – 2 offers, Center Manager - Various Locations Nationally

i.  Neveah Tech. – 2 offers, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Consulting - Placement in Kolkata

 j. National Stock Exchange of India - 1 offer, Financial Regulatory Services - Placement in Kolkata

 k. Bertling Logistics – 3 offers, Marketing and Sales –  Placement in Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad

  l. Cnergyis – 2 offers, Marketing and Sales – Placement in   

      Mumbai and Pune

 m. 3M – 1 offer, Sales and Marketing - Placement in Kolkata

3) A further 15+ companies are expected to participate in the 2009 placement for a total of 26 students. The break-up of these companies is as follows:

a.   3 companies have completed their preliminary rounds. The final rounds are to be held/results of the final round are to be announced.

b.   5 companies have started the process by inviting applications and will be commencing the process of short-listing and conducting the processes.

c.    8 companies have confirmed participation and will be conducting their processes over the next month.
